My main style of yoga is Vinyasa flow. Some postures are held and others enable smooth transitions to other poses. The aim is to create an easy flowing rhythmic series of movements which stretch, heal, cleanse and give us space – in the body and in the mind. Many of the postures come from traditional Ashtanga style yoga, others are recent additions to the yoga world. I believe in the power of the breath – so important if we are to develop an ease of flow within our practice. It is with the use of the breath that we can cultivate the effortless effort that makes yoga so magical.
